Gratitude Day Celebration

Gratitude is the heartfelt recognition of the kindness and support we receive from others, and it serves as a reminder of the positive aspects of our lives. It allows us to express our thankfulness and encourages a cycle of giving and receiving.
On October 12, 2023 the Fides staff gathered at the Provincial House to celebrate a Gratitude Day Prayer Program. This event was a testament to the importance of gratitude in our lives. During this event, all the sisters, including Sr. Superior Sherly Joseph, were present. The program featured prayers, well-wishes, and songs that resonated with the theme of gratitude and delicious lunch for all the staff of FIDES.
In the afternoon, Sr. Superior Sherly Joseph was invited to Fides Hall, where a special program was organized in her honor. The program began with a warm welcome and proceeded to showcase the essence of gratitude through various activities.
The afternoon program featured a prayer dance by Fides staff, a heartfelt speech by Sr. Sherly Joseph, emphasizing the importance of being grateful for even the smallest things. The program also included a group song by Quest students, soulful solo performances, and a duo song by two talented individuals.
The event brought together different groups, including medical coding students, Fides staff, and even a surprise dance by Fides male staff, illustrating how gratitude unites people from various backgrounds.
The Gratitude Day Prayer Program concluded with a vote of thanks and light refreshments, leaving everyone with a deep sense of gratitude and appreciation for the connections and experiences shared.
This event serves as a reminder that gratitude is not just a one-day celebration but an attitude that can be nurtured and practiced every day. It reminds us to be thankful for the blessings in our lives and the people who contribute to our well-being.
